The Church Planting Missions Track
Albanian Bible Institute is pleased to announce the continuation of the new church planting-missions track this fall. This program is for students who are interested in serving the Lord as church planters and missionaries in Albania and other places abroad. Perhaps you may be one of them. Even if you are not sure of God's call to this kind of work, the CPM track is still open for you if you want to develop a greater vision for world mission and to become an active supporter of those who serve as church planters and missionaries throughout the world. Perhaps you could be a catalyst for mobilizing the Albanian church to go beyond the borders of this country with the gospel by sending missionaries and building prayer networks to support them. Perhaps you could mobilize churches in Albania to organize and sacrifice their finances to send missionaries abroad. The CPM track will help you have the kind of vision that moves the Albanian church from being primarily a receiver of missionaries to being a sender of missionaries.
During the two year program of studies, you will have many practical experiences that will strengthen your abilities to serve in missions and church planting. Knowledge alone is not enough. Throughout your two years of studies at ABI, you will preach eight times, lead small group Bible studies eight times, and direct six lessons in chronological Bible teaching. In the summer you will be involved in a practicum in cross cultural ministry and one in church planting. Students will even learn how to play the guitar so they can lead worship in any ministry setting. Because English is a necessary skill for working on international missionary teams, we offer opportunities for you to improve your English.
In addition to these practical courses, you will have courses in Biblical studies, Biblical interpretation, theology, worship leadership, world religions, apologetics and disciplemaking to round out your educational experience and to make you better prepared for effective service in any context.
