What is a typical student at A.B.I.?

The 2009-2010 Student Body gathers in the library for an informal formal portrait.
|
None of our students are alike, but this will give you a profile of the average student in our school:
- In the past, most of our students have been between the ages of 20-28 years of age. THIS YEAR, we have students between the ages of 17 to 45.
- There is a mix of married, newly married, engaged and single students among our new student body. Some of our students have children ranging from babies to adolescents.
- Most have a high school diploma, though many have finished only eighth grade, the minimum mandated by the state.
- All are sent by local churches and continue serving in some role while in school. All students are encouraged to use their biblical training in their churches by teaching Bible studies and sharing truths they learn in class with individual church members.
- Students come from a variety of backgrounds: city, village, north, south, Muslim, Catholic and Orthodox.
- All students are actively involved in their local churches, carrying out a variety of responsibilities. Currently, our students serve in the following capacities:
- deacon
- children's workers
- church secretary
- worship leader
- church treasurer
- English teachers
