From Director Lee Bradley:

2008-9 ABI Students & Staff
With no other heat in the building and winter quickly coming, ABI prays for a furnace.
This summer has seen many changes in our building at Albanian Bible Institute. Actually, when I think about it, our building has undergone many changes and improvements in the last two years. God has really been good to us by providing so many needs and securing funds for them to happen. Many of your have contributed financially to make sure we were able to add the dormitory and do all the remodeling that has been done. Your efforts are not unseen by us, nor our Heavenly Father. Thank you so much!

We have finished all but one project in our second phase of reconstruction. We lack the installment of a central heating system. This is a project that must be done because cold weather will be upon us in a matter of weeks. Up until today, we have received $12,271 for the project. The last estimate that we got was that we would need $19,600 to finish it all. Although we hope to receive a lower bid from another company, most everything we are hearing is a price similar or even higher than that. Today we are $7300 short. Cooler weather begins in early November. We have about 6 weeks to get everything done, so we are going to have to act quickly. Like you, we do not want to live in a cold building this winter which will be uncomfortable and make us more susceptible to colds and flu. We have no alternative heating system now that we disposed of all our old, rickety diesel stoves and the electric space heaters that no longer work.

Would you do two things for us?

1. Would you pray for this need that we will be able to find the right company and the right price to install this heating system? 2. Would you consider giving a gift to help us purchase this heating system? Even what you may consider to be a small gift can be a big help to us. Much of the money we have received over the last two years for projects has been made up of $25 and $50 checks. Each of those gifts is appreciated and encourages us as we work together to make this school a better place to live and learn. We are so close to the end of all of this reconstruction. It is feeling quite good to be this close.

It is with great reservation that I write a letter like this. I fear you grow tired of appeals for more money. I can understand that and do not want to annoy anyone. I am hopeful that this is my last appeal for money for our building for the immediate future. We have more plans to expand, but that will be in a few more years. Right now, we want to finish this project and have it behind us. Your help would be greatly appreciated. If you'd like to send a gift, please designate it for ABI BUILDING FUND.

We are grateful for all you do for us and all you will do to help us through this last stage of the last stage (for now) of our building improvement campaign. God bless you for your prayer and financial support of our ministry!
