Meet ZAMIRA LLESHI

Hi!

I am Zamira Lleshi and I attend Albanian Bible Institute with my husband, Gjergj. We are in our second year of studies in the church planting and missions track. We are the proud parents of Emanuela, our daughter, who is 2 1/2 years old. She is a blessing to us!

I have been a believer for eight years. It was through a vision that I began to understand more about Jesus. My sister had already accepted Christ and talked with me about Him. After I had the vision, I began to read the Bible and Christian literature to understand the truth about Jesus. I then decided to make Jesus my Lord. Missionaries came to our village near Gramsh to share the gospel. My family and several young people attended their meetings. A few years ago my family moved to Tirana.

When I moved to Tirana, I became active in a ministry to Gypsy children. I have been active in church, attending Bible study and sometimes even leading it. I have helped by cleaning the church and any way I could. I have also been encouraging other believers through personal discipleship. I am a member of "The Way of Salvation" Church in Tirana, though currently Gjergji and I are serving as church planters in Elbasan, where we have lived for the last four months.

I came to ABI to learn the word of God and to be better equipped for any kind of service the Lord might have for me. I am willing to go wherever he sends. I know that the training I have had will prepare me for any assignment God has for me.
