Meet SHQIPE MITA
October 2008

My name is Shqipe and I am married to Fatjon Mita, who is also a student at Albanian Bible Institute. We have two teenage sons, Ino and Reid. I have been a believer since 1993. It was in the first evangelistic campaigns of 1991-92 that I began to hear about Christ. Later I received a Bible at work and read it. It was through reading the Bible that I began to believe in Jesus.

Through these years I have served the Lord, mostly in "The Way of Salvation" Church in Laprake (Tirane). I have served as a deacon and director of the women's meetings. Through all these years I have sought to serve the Lord and help people any way that I can.

I have come to Albanian Bible Institute to be better prepared to serve the Lord. I am especially interested in serving in missions and church planting. I want to learn how to study the Bible better for myself, especially how to apply it. I have really enjoyed the church planting class, as well as the class on how to lead small group Bible studies. The hermeneutics and Bibliology classes have also been very good!

Student Testimony
June 1, 2010

My time in ABI has been very helpful and made me useful to serve in teaching and preaching, as well as serving Jesus Christ. It has been a time of encouragement, inspiration and deeper studies in God's word in order to know the truth.

I encourage people to attend ABI because they will know how to interpret the Bible better. They will grow in character and be stronger in their faith, as I have done. They will learn to serve more effectively.

The missions track at ABI has been full of encouragement and practical learning experiences that will help anyone become a better missionary or servant of the Lord. They will be able to help lost people come to salvation in Christ.
